Accountability Objective
The Incumbent directs the daily operation of the College education programs of the Danville Department of Corrections in Danville, IL. The Incumbent reports to the Dean of Business & Technology and works with no direct supervision and minimal non-direct supervision.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree; Three years of administrative/supervisory experience. Working knowledge of correctional education and/or community colleges. Good verbal and written communicative skills. Proven interpersonal skills. Ability to pass all Department of Corrections background screening.
Desired Qualifications
Master’s Degree; Knowledge of correctional systems.

These responsibilities may include package pick-up, collecting and delivering mail, escorting visitors, gathering and inputting information on the offender tracking system, taking of inventory, photocopying, corresponding, filing, book binding, cleaning storage area and office areas, activities surrounding graduation exercises, issuing call passes, etc.
