Summer School Bus Drivers Needed

GENERAL DEFINITION OF WORK
Under the direction and supervision of the Director and Assistant Director of Transportation Services, the Summer School Bus Driver performs intermediate semi-skilled support work in the transportation of students to and from Summer School.
Qualifications
June 9-12 (4 days)
June 16-18, 20 (4 days)
June 23-26 (4 days)
June 30-July 3 (4 days)
LOCATIONS
Woodberry: Woodberry and Forest Hills students
Schoolfield: Schoolfield and Gibson students
Park Avenue: Johnson and Park Avenue students

Galileo
RISE Academy
SALARY $30 Per Hour
NOTE
No personal benefits or leave programs (i.e., personal leave, sick leave) are available to summer school employees.
Employment will be contingent on summer school student enrollment.

Qualifications
- Possess a Commercial Driver's License with Class B endorsement
- General knowledge of City traffic rules and regulations
- Ability to operate buses and related equipment safely and efficiently
- Ability to remain alert and to remain calm during the periods of stress
- Ability to keep simple records and make reports
- Ability to establish effective relationships with riders, children, departmental officials and employees, and the general public
