Position Summary
Sovah Health is looking for the ideal candidate who is responsible for program coordinating student clinical rotations, teaching assigned sonographic classes and supervision of students in the clinical setting.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications :
Minimum Education
Graduate of a two year allied health program required. Must be actively pursuing a B.S. Degree. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA) required
Licenses :
American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) credentialed in one of the following areas :
Abdomen, OB / GYNRDCS or RCSRVT
Must have working knowledge of the different types of sonographer equipment. Teaching Aids : AV equipment, books, journals, MS Office and Google works.
Documentation of experience in education theories and techniques may include completed college courses, seminars, or in-service sessions on topics including, but not limited to learning theory, curriculum design, test construction, teaching methodology or assessment techniques after hire..
Minimum Work Experience
Two (2) years of professional experience as a registered diagnostic medical sonographer required
Previous experience as a Sonography instructor preferred
