In this hands-on position, you'll ensure our facilities are safe, clean, and well-maintained to support the vital work we do. Your expertise in maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting will directly contribute to creating environments where our clients and staff thrive.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform drywall repairs and installation
- Conduct general maintenance and repairs
- Ensure safety and accessibility
- Regularly conduct preventive maintenance
- Administer collaboration and support with Management, Finance and Quality Assurance team
- Complete training as assigned to approach projects with efficiency and the latest safety requirements. Maintain company-required training and ability to work in the disabilities field.
- Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- At least two (2) years’ experience performing drywall repair, installation, and finishing
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and painting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in residential care settings or with individuals with disabilities.
- Familiarity with ADA compliance and accessibility modifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Additional Requirements
- Pass a thorough background investigation (per NCPA/VCA) which includes criminal and state investigation upon hire and maintained throughout employment
- Ability to meet state and company driving requirements
- Have a valid driver's license with at least three (3) years of driving experience and meets the company’s safe driver standards
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Effective communication skills
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
Special Skills/Training/Certifications
- Current First aid/ CPR required
- SOAR training preferred
