In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our fleet, which is integral to the well-being of our individuals and the overall services that we provide.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- In charge of fleet maintenance and safety.
- Meet the state and company driving requirements.
- Administer safety training and compliance. T
- Complete all required paperwork and electronic documentation to meet company, federal, and state regulatory requirements.
- Carry a company-issued cell phone and respond promptly to emergencies within company guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two (2) years’ experience with basic vehicle maintenance
- Experience working with people with disabilities is preferred
Additional Requirements
- Pass a thorough background investigation (per NCPA/VCA) which includes criminal and state investigation upon hire and maintained throughout employment
- Have a valid driver's license with at least three (3) years of driving experience and meets the company’s safe driver standards
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Effective communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Basic keyboarding and computer skills.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and operation
Special Skills/Training/Certifications
- First aid/ CPR, and SOAR training preferred.
