Danzer Veneer Americas seeking Management Trainee in Operations to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the Operations Manager in overseeing daily business activities, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high productivity levels.
This position would be hands-on learning the day-to-day operations of our veneer manufacturing plant. You would spend a lot of time on the floor learning and understanding the processes from start to finish. You would learn the operational aspect to effectively manage people/operations/budgets/understanding. This is a long-term position with the goal to eventually be in a leadership role.
Schedule: Monday-Friday (some weekends required as needed).
Salary: Based on experience.

Responsibilities (not inclusive):
- Assist the Operations Manager in planning and coordinating operational procedures.
- Will be the champion of the safety program and act as the ESMS Coordinator.
- Must be willing to work on the factory floor as needed and assist the employees.
- Not be intimidated by a fast-paced work environment.
- Monitor and analyze operational processes to identify areas of improvement.
- Collaborate with various departments to streamline operations and enhance overall performance.
- Supervise staff and provide guidance to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Manage inventory levels and procurement processes to meet operational needs.
- Implement strategies to optimize workflow and enhance productivity.
- Ensure you are spending time on the floor and monitoring staff and operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of a 2- or 4-year college degree in a relatable field. Or similar on the job experience.
- Proven experience in an operations role, preferably in a managerial capacity.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
