Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, the Product Flow Coordinator (PFC) is responsible for performing tasks related to receiving donated merchandise, and sorting it to its appropriate area for processing. In addition, the PFC is responsible for stocking merchandise on the sales floor once it is processed.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Handles receipt of donated merchandise ensuring excellent customer service in the drop-off area.
- Sorts donated merchandise by category for processing.
- Stocks processed merchandise onto the sales floor.
- Loads and unloads Revivals donation trucks and assists with unloading deliveries of new products as needed.
- Assists with store displays as needed.
- Maintains the cleanliness of the sales floor to include dusting, sweeping and vacuuming as needed.
- Identifies product needs on the sales floor and communicates to the Warehouse Manager or designee.
- Greets customers when on the sales floor.
- Interacts with customers by answering any questions they may have.
- Assists with customer requests.
- Cleans warehouse and restrooms as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Basic mathematical skills to include adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and calculating percentages;
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English;
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays;
- Flexibility in schedule. The ability to work weekends and holidays is required;
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written;
- Interpersonal and team-oriented skills, preferred;
- Self-starting, self-motivating mindset, preferred;
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, preferred;
- Bilingual in Spanish, preferred.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of one year of warehouse or retail experience.
- Minimum of one year of customer service experience, preferred.
- Experience/knowledge of thrift store environment, preferred.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
- Operates in a store setting at times and requires frequent times of sitting, standing, repetitive motion and talking.
- Potential exposure to hazardous materials, irritants, allergens and noise.
- Exposure to extreme weather conditions, both hot and cold.
Salary : $21 - $22
