Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and a solid understanding of construction processes. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and performing general labor tasks as needed to support construction and remodeling projects. A strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work are essential.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects, including drywall installation and finishing.
- Assist in frame carpentry tasks such as building structures or installing trim.
- Perform masonry work as required, ensuring quality and durability of finished surfaces.
- Support concrete finishing activities to achieve desired textures and finishes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
Requirements
- Proven experience in industrial painting or construction painting is preferred.
- Knowledge of color theory and its application in various projects is a plus.
- Familiarity with frame carpentry, drywall installation, masonry techniques, and concrete finishing is beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
