Maintenance Person / Attendant Job Description
Job Title: Maintenance Person / Attendant
Reports To: Senior Manager / Assistant Manager/ Lead Attendant
Position summary and general purpose:
Promote and provide high quality customer service to carwash customers.
Role qualifications:
1. Minimum of 18 years of age.
2. Demonstrated ability to serve as a representative of the company, and thus converse professionally and knowledgably with carwash customers.
3. Flexibility in work hours to accommodate company needs to include evenings, weekend and holiday hours.
Position responsibilities:
1. Essential duties include but are not limited to the following.
a. Great Customers with a friendly smile and warm welcome
b. Be knowledgeable regarding the car wash operations and wash options so as to be able to assist customers in making a car wash and payment selections.
c. Guide cars into wash with a focused, pleasant, and competent demeanor.
d. Perform visual inspections of the condition of each vehicle prior to sending them through the wash.
e. Be proficient with all policies and procedures and able to perform them on a daily basis as needed.
f. Perform regularly scheduled maintenance on vacuum equipment to ensure cleanliness and proper working order.
g. Keep vacuums unclogged, hoses hung properly, and trash cans emptied.
h. Ensure that entire property and facility is kept clean and ensure everything is kept in the proper place and organized.
i. Utilize pressure washer.
j. Meet or exceed customer expectations.
Job Title: Maintenance Person / Attendant
Reports To: Senior Manager / Assistant Manager / Crew Leader
Supervisory responsibility:
No supervisory responsibility.
Physical demands and work environment:
1. Ability to do occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds (physical)
2. Ability to stand for long periods of time, 60% to 100% of the time. (Physical)
3. Ability to work outdoors in excessive weather. (Hot/Cold) (Physical)
4. Ability to use computerized database system for documentation and record keeping (visual).
5. Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers, supervisors and other professionals in person and by telephone. (Verbal, Visual, Hearing)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.75 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
