Job Description
At Dapper Lighting, we are proud to offer innovative lighting solutions that meet the needs and wants of the classic car customer and market. To help us continue growing our product line, we are in search of an experienced Customer Service Specialist to join our growing sales and customer service teams. You are a people person and love to help customers out with anything from an order update to technical product questions. You love classic cars and it shows, as you relate with customers in education about our products. You also have a way with words and can turn a frustrated customer into a happy customer.

Objectives of this Role
- Assist educating customers from incoming leads
- Assist incoming leads with placing orders
- Build customer vehicle and fitment databases
- Assist with technical support requests
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Serve customers by providing product and service information and resolving product and service problems.
- Attract potential customers by answering product and service questions and suggesting information about other products and services.
- Open customer accounts by recording account information.
- Maintain customer records by updating account information.
- Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution.
- Recommend potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
- Prepare product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.
- Assist and solve any technical product requested questions
Skills and Qualifications
- High School degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of automotive lighting
- Knowledge of classic cars
- Exceptional writing and editing skills
- Fully Proficient in Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Zendesk or similar CRM
- Previous industry experience
