Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Professionals to join our team. This role involves providing support and care to individuals with behavioral health needs, including those with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will utilize their expertise in applied behavior analysis and crisis intervention to enhance the quality of life for our clients. The Behavioral Health Professional will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and ensure the well-being of patients.
Duties
- Implement individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Provide direct support and care to individuals with behavioral health challenges and developmental disabilities.
- Conduct data collection and analysis to monitor client progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with social workers, educators, and other professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Perform vital sign assessments as part of routine health monitoring.
- Engage in crisis intervention strategies to de-escalate challenging situations effectively.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and progress notes.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Experience
- Experience working in behavioral health settings or with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis techniques is highly desirable.
- Background in social work, special education, or related fields is beneficial.
- Proven skills in data collection methods and medication administration are essential.
- Experience in providing patient care and crisis intervention is a plus.
