Job Description
The General Distribution Worker’s primary job function is performing general distribution such as pallet loading, wrapping, and unloading utilizing warping machines and manual pallet jacks to ensure product arrives safely and securely to the customer.
Essential Function :
Always maintain a safe working environment, including housekeeping and compliance to safety rules.
Perform jobs in assembly, material handling, or wood finishing.
Be available to help in other areas as required.
Learn new skills, support other team members, make improvements, and other actions to help the team achieve its goals.
Understands information on picklists and cabinet labels.
Willing to be cross-trained and accept additional tasks when need arises to meet customer demands.
Other duties as requested.
Qualifications :
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
Education, Experience and Skills :
High school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED) is preferred.
One to 3 years of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
Good written and oral communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Ability to comprehend and follow instructions
Ability to work independently and in a teamwork environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced, often changing environment
Ability to properly assess and prioritize tasks
Pay Rate $16.50
