What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Clerk Receiving position at Darby Day Staffing Inc.?

Highly detail-oriented and organized, ensuring accuracy in all receiving operations.

Oversee the receipt of goods, verifying shipment contents against purchase orders and packing lists.

Inspect incoming shipments of raw materials, ingredients, and supplies for accuracy and quality.

Document and report any discrepancies or damaged goods to the appropriate departments.

Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to schedule deliveries and promptly resolve any issues.

Maintain precise records of received goods and update inventory systems accordingly.

Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of the receiving area and three loading docks.

Monitor and direct drivers, coordinating dock assignments and transfers as needed.

Collaborate with production, procurement, and quality control teams to ensure the timely and accurate receipt of materials.

Adhere to all safety and food safety regulations, maintaining compliance with company and industry standards.

Walk outside the office multiple times daily to oversee receiving operations and dock activities.
