Individuals are responsible to provide their own housing and reliable transportation to/from work during the internship experience.

RSC employees are welcome to wear casual attire every day of the week. This includes jeans, capris, T-shirts, and athletic shoes. Business casual attire may be required for certain occasions.
About Data Analytics Intern
The Data Quality (Intern), is responsible for ingesting data, transforming data, and leveraging data to create critical business insights. They are expected to develop strong relationships with their teammates and business partners across the enterprise. This position will work with technology teams responsible for data integration, business intelligence, monitoring, database/cloud data administration and overall architecture.

Summary
The Internship Experience
- A full-time (40 hours/ week) 10-week program placement during the summer at Darden’s RSC in Orlando, FL
- May 12, 2025, through July 18, 2025
- Interns are paid $20/hour

About Data Analytics Intern
The Data Quality (Intern), is responsible for ingesting data, transforming data, and leveraging data to create critical business insights. They are expected to develop strong relationships with their teammates and business partners across the enterprise. This position will work with technology teams responsible for data integration, business intelligence, monitoring, database/cloud data administration and overall architecture.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Configure new data sources using the existing data pipelines
- Monitor pipeline performance and data ingestion
- Leverage experience in monitoring data pipelines to assist in advanced alerting techniques aimed at providing an early warning for suspect data quality issues
- Learn and leverage new tools such as Snowflake SQL, Spark SQL, Kusto, DevOps, Azure Data Factory, Data Flow, and Data Bricks to assist in development, generation of automated testing and automated data validation
- Leverage tools like Power BI and Databricks to generate a Dashboard that collects and displays Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Develop data cleansing routines to obfuscate data, dedupe data or automate the generation of valid test data sets. Assist in validation of the resulting data sets
- Automate recording of data lineage and metadata to enable business users in deriving accurate insights
- Exposure to data base technologies and data integration
- Understanding of data modelling techniques such as relational databases, star and snowflake schema
- Familiarity with Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Previous exposure to Python, Java or C# is highly desired
- Pursuing BS/BA in Business Administration, Information Technology, or Computer Science with anticipated graduation within 2 semesters
- Strong facilitation, observational and interviewing skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal context, providing level of detail appropriate for the audience
- Strong time management, prioritization and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
- Ability to work with limited supervision and under the direction of the Team Lead
- Ability to assess risk and escalate issues appropriately
- Ability to partner with QA to review test cases and work closely with them to learn the different restaurant systems
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate and command an audience
- Restaurant experience a plus
