Job Title: Instructional Technology/ STEM Facilitator

Reports to: Principal and Technology Director

Compensation: State Salary Plus Local Supplement

• Qualifications:
• North Carolina Teacher Licensure
• Master's Degree in Education-related field preferred
• Special Endorsement in Computer Education preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of successful experience as a classroom teacher

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching and Learning Support

1. Collaborate with teachers to develop technology-integrated curriculum materials and lesson plans
2. Model effective technology integration across all curriculum areas
3. Facilitate school participation in technology programs and activities
4. Provide coaching on pedagogical strategies, including blended learning environments
5. Collaborate with media specialists to leverage instructional technology resources

2. Information Access and Delivery

1. Implement best practices for technology use in the school program
2. Work with administrators to provide access to technology resources and services
3. Select resources that align with curriculum goals and meet technology infrastructure requirements
4. Ensure copyright compliance and ethical resource use
5. Model digital citizenship and train faculty, staff, and students

3. Program Administration

1. Submit accurate reports as required
2. Carry out non-instructional duties, including:
1. Technology inventory management
2. Chromebook and iPad deployment, repair, warranty management, and collection
3. Triage building-level technology needs
3. Evaluate and select resources with district leaders, principals, and teachers
