Job Title: Instructional Technology/ STEM Facilitator
Reports to: Principal and Technology Director
Compensation: State Salary Plus Local Supplement
- Qualifications:
- North Carolina Teacher Licensure
- Master's Degree in Education-related field preferred
- Special Endorsement in Computer Education preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of successful experience as a classroom teacher
Key Responsibilities
Teaching and Learning Support
- Collaborate with teachers to develop technology-integrated curriculum materials and lesson plans
- Model effective technology integration across all curriculum areas
- Facilitate school participation in technology programs and activities
- Provide coaching on pedagogical strategies, including blended learning environments
- Collaborate with media specialists to leverage instructional technology resources
Information Access and Delivery
- Implement best practices for technology use in the school program
- Work with administrators to provide access to technology resources and services
- Select resources that align with curriculum goals and meet technology infrastructure requirements
- Ensure copyright compliance and ethical resource use
- Model digital citizenship and train faculty, staff, and students
Program Administration
- Submit accurate reports as required
- Carry out non-instructional duties, including:
- Technology inventory management
- Chromebook and iPad deployment, repair, warranty management, and collection
- Triage building-level technology needs
- Evaluate and select resources with district leaders, principals, and teachers
