Overview
The Network Manager is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and security of the organization's network infrastructure. This role ensures the network operates efficiently, securely, and reliably to support district operations.
Duties
- · Design, implement, and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including LANs, WANs and wireless networks
- · Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot issues
- · Implement and maintain network security measures
- · Provide technical support to end-users and other IT staff
- · Train staff on network policies and procedures
- · Manage network backups and disaster recovery procedures
- · Manage the budget allocated for network expenses
- · Build and maintain all internal servers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- CCNA, CCNP, CCIE (Cisco) or equivalent certifications
- Microsoft server technology or equivalent certifications
- Familiarity with HP Aruba, Ruckus, Nutanix, Fortigate and Datto technologies
- 5 years of experience in network administration and management
- Strong understanding of network protocols, hardware, and security technologies
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- · Microsoft and/or A certification a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
