What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Mechanic - Overnight Shift - $2,000.00 Sign On Bonus position at Darigold Brand?
Darigold is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at the Spokane, WA location. The Maintenance Mechanic must possess the desire and ability to maintain all plant equipment. The Maintenance Mechanic’s role is to perform repairs and preventative maintenance on all plant equipment.
What You Will Do
- Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
- Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; and monitoring compliance.
- Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
- Proficient in process instrumentation including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and calibration.
- Read, understand, and troubleshoot using electrical schematics.
- General electrical troubleshooting of 24v, 110v, 220v and 480v systems.
- Understand the theory behind process flow.
What You Bring:
- 3 yrs. Exp. in mechanical/electrical maintenance or instrumentation certificate.
- Must be available ALL DAYS, ALL SHIFTS.

Nice to Have’s
- Highly proficient and experienced in troubleshooting, PLCs, electrical controls, and instrumentation.
- Knowledgeable in the areas of mechanical machinery, steam, boiler, pneumatic & hydraulic operations.
- Read/understand blueprints, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Strong team, verbal, and written skills.
- Sanitary welding experience preferred
- Boiler Operators license preferred.
