What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Operator - Swing or Graveyard Shift position at Darigold, Inc.?
Darigold is looking for a Production Operator to join our team at our Chehalis location. The Production Operator must possess the desire and ability to contribute to the success of the facility. As a member of the Operations team, the Production Operator will work with others to achieve team goals. The Production Operator’s role is to work independently without direct supervision in a fast-paced environment. Must be reliable. Must have good attendance. This is a union position.
- Responsible for routine monitoring
- Respond to reading and check during both the production and cleaning process (CIP)
- Produce a quality product in a safe manner
- Trouble shooting, proper and accurate documentation
- Accurate documentation and full understanding of instruments and equipment
- Consistently follow all GMP, PPE, Job Safety and Food Safety requirements
- Other duties as assigned

- Ability to routinely lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to maintain all required documentation related to job
- Ability to stand for entire shift and climb stairs routinely
- Ability to obtain and maintain all regulatory permits as required
- Excel in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working in a Food Processing/Production environment
- Self-starter with good analytical skills capable of performing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Availability to work varied shifts
Pay Rate: $26.97 per hour
