Description
Darigold is looking for an Inventory Deployment Planner to join our team. The Inventory Deployment Planner plays a critical role in maximizing business performance and servicing Darigold’s customers by managing deployment of inventory from point of manufacture or purchase to final shipping warehouse.
The Inventory Deployment Planner role is pivotal in linking the Darigold Demand and Supply Planning team to the Customer Order Fulfillment teams by holistically creating and managing inventory stocking policies and transportation plans to support having the right inventory at the right time to fulfill customer demand.
What You Will Do :
- Sets inventory stocking policy for each SKU at assigned warehouses (Excel).
- Manage integration of demand forecasts, supply plans, inventory stocking policy, warehousing and transportation capacity models into one cohesive synchronized planning model for assigned warehouses (Excel / PowerBI).
- Plan and manage inventory transfer orders for assigned warehouses (ERP).
- Collaborate with Demand and Supply planners to meet in Order Fill Rate targets by category.
- Collaborate with warehousing and transportations teams to manage execution of inventory deployment plans, monitor performance to plan and meet Order Fill Rate targets by category.
- Represent inventory deployment team in cross functional integrated tactical planning and integrated business planning weekly / monthly meetings.
- Analyze network supply, demand, storage and transportation patterns to improve operational efficiency and maximize bottom line business financial results to include making recommendations to best incorporate to new customers and lines of business.
- Partner with Supply Chain Finance to understand and integrate inventory holding cost and cost to serve into decision making tools.
- Assist in coaching and training of team members on use of tools, process and concepts related to inventory deployment and inventory management.
