Darigold is looking for a Sanitation Supervisor. The Sanitation Supervisor's role is to assist the facility in maintaining corporate policies and procedures as they relate to quality, food safety, and sanitation. Supervising the sanitation team with the QA Manager to maintain hygienic conditions in the food manufacturing facility through performance and monitoring of quality systems and processes.
Salary : $78,000-$107,073
What You Will Do
- Lead and maintain plant SSOPs and Master Sanitation Schedule, designing and implementing new SSOP's as required.
- Conduct regular training, as needed, for compliance with SSOP's instructions and policies.
- Take ownership of the sanitation program and accept responsibility for all aspects of the sanitation activities.
- Coordinates activities to identify, troubleshoot, solve, and prevent problems affecting sanitation.
- Maintain sanitation equipment as well as chemical usage and inventories to assure availability for effective cleaning.
- Perform routine sanitation inspection and verify efficacy with associated equipment through visual inspection and microbiological testing.
- Understand the manufacturing process, equipment design and layout to ensure proper sanitation and efficient production startups.
- Monitor CIP systems and documentation to ensure proper cleaning. Validate records and compliance to established parameters.
- Ensure all plant employees are following company policies, procedures & GMP's.
- Monitor plant employee practices related to cleanliness, sanitation, and pest control.
- Assist in sanitation activities as needed.
- Monitor, maintain and continuously upgrade Environmental Monitoring Program.
- Work closely with chemical and sanitation providers
- Serve as a member of various plant teams to collaborate on how to maintain the Sanitation Program.
