Job Summary
The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives within their assigned territory. They will play a key role in increasing market share, driving revenue growth, managing client relationships, and fostering dispensary partnerships. Key Responsibilities of the Role
Lead & Develop Client Relationships
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with dispensary owners and inventory buyers
- Guide account development through strategic planning and execution
- Cultivate a culture of trust and reliability with clients
Drive Sales Excellence
- Oversee territory operations, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company standards
- Optimize sales processes for efficiency and profitability
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities
Performance & Analytics
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Sales to achieve revenue targets and key performance indicators
- Analyze market data, implement effective strategies, and motivate success through data-driven decisions
- Track and report on territory performance metrics
Compliance Champion
- Maintain thorough understanding of cannabis regulations and company policies
- Ensure all sales activities operate in full compliance
- Conduct regular territory audits to identify and mitigate potential risks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with concentration in business, sales, marketing, or related field
- 2 years' experience in similar role in the cannabis Industry, preferably in sales
- Experience with territory management, sales goals, and brand promotion
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently and on a variable schedule
- Industry compliance "Badge" as required by state and local municipalities
- Computer proficiency, including but not limited to: Microsoft Office Suite (required), Customer Relationship Management Systems, & Data-Analytic Software.
