Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to help drive growth within the Department of Defense (DoD) with a primary focus at the US Army and US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). This individual will play a critical role in identifying and capturing new opportunities across Army and SOCOM opportunities and building and managing partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Owner and expert on the customer, able to drive organic growth and new business opportunities within the portfolio
- Accountable for business development activity, including growth and budget goals, with a track-record for converting opportunities to new business
- Owns the entire lifecycle of an opportunity with the capacity to coordinate a successful response to an opportunity (tip to tail)
- Owns customer relationship versus individual project and program outcome(s)
- Influences client direction with broad and deep understanding of organization, history, key personnel, and mission
- Demonstrated ability to lead an effort that translates new or changing customer needs into sold and funded work for Dark Wolf
- Established reputation internally at Dark Wolf of being the "owner" of a customer account, with an ability to speak about future plans by that organization and Dark Wolf's (potential) role
- Anticipates Dark Wolf and customer goals and mobilizes resources to meet those goals
- Effort alone is not enough, expected to identify and achieve tangible outcomes in the form of additional revenue, programs, and customers each year
- Represents Dark Wolf on specific areas of expertise when engaging with senior level customers in customer areas (e.g., 15’s, SES, etc.)
- Speaks (and writes) credibly in public forums about target capability and/or customer area
- Demonstrated mastery of target customer base in the form of thought leadership, speaking engagements, conference attendance, with track-record of generating leads.
- Demonstrated ability to translate “customer first” stories into win themes and other advantageous uses for Dark Wolf as a firm
- Provides thought-leadership to advance and influence Dark Wolf’s future vision and core values
Qualifications
- 8-10 years of business development, capture management, or program management experience in DoD
- Strong understanding of US Army or USSOCOM operations, priorities, and acquisition processes
- Established network within US Army or USSOCOM and related stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and manage client relationships, identify business development opportunities, lead capture efforts, and deliver measurable results.
- Top Secret Clearance
Location: National Capital Region (Preferred) or other Dark Wolf Office location (hybrid).
The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $170,000.00 - $190,000.00, commensurate on experience.
