Schedule: Monday through Friday
Shift: 1st Shift - 7AM until
Starting Pay: $21/hr, depending on experience

Are you ready for an exciting, fast-paced job where your skills make a huge impact? As a Yard Jockey, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that the warehouse runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll be the driving force behind trailer movements, keeping everything organized and flowing like clockwork!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Trailer Movement: Safely maneuver yard jockey trucks to expertly position trailers and containers where they need to be. You’ll be the master of the yard!
• Spotting: Accurately position trailers for loading and unloading to keep operations on track. Precision is your middle name!
• Inspections: Perform pre-trip and post-trip checks on yard jockey trucks to ensure they’re always in top condition, ready for action.
• Forklift Expertise: Your forklift experience will come in handy, whether it's assisting on the floor or helping out with other tasks.
• Safety First: Follow strict safety protocols to keep yourself and the team safe while working in the yard and driving the trucks.
• Communication: You’ll be the voice of coordination, communicating clearly with the warehouse crew and supervisors to ensure smooth trailer movements.
• Record Keeping: Track trailer movements, inspections, and any incidents—organization is key to keeping everything running smoothly.
• Maintenance Alerts: Keep the trucks in tip-top shape by promptly reporting any mechanical issues so they can be addressed right away.
• Be On Time: Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential to keep operations on schedule and running without a hitch.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Driver’s License: You don't need a CDL, but you do need to be licensed and ready to drive.
• Experience: Previous experience operating yard jockey trucks or similar equipment is a must.
• Tough as Nails: This job requires working outdoors in all weather conditions. So, bring your energy, and get ready to take on the elements!
• Fit for the Job: This role requires physical activity—climbing in and out of trucks, moving trailers, and conducting inspections. You’ve got to be up for the challenge!
• Safety First: You’re committed to following all safety rules and regulations.
• Clear Communication: Whether it's talking to the team or jotting down records, you know how to communicate effectively.
