Primary Duties And Responsibilities
$130,000- $150,000

Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Configure Linux-based operating systems and their services in order to maximize system performance and reliability.
- Provide support for the implementation and operation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux based Information Technology (IT) systems or Red Hat Derivative systems
- Install and configure Linux-based operating systems and their services according to system requirements
- Conduct day-to-day operations, such as account management, system health and status checks, and internal technical and security log review
- Identify capacity, performance, and reliability issues and escalate them for resolution
- Identify patches and configuration changes according to provided direction.
- Support the dispatching of hardware technicians and performing hardware maintenance
- Manage the system as part of an integrated solution, assisting related administrators in troubleshooting and correcting network and storage subsystem issues
- Communicate status to agency management and internal customers
- Current Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
- US Citizen
- A high school diploma (or GED) is required.
- Nine (9) years of demonstrated IT experience in any related field.
- Five (5) years demonstrated Red Hat Enterprise Linux system administration experience within the last eight (8) years.
- An active Tier II certification related to Red Hat Enterprise Linux system administration, such as the Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
$130,000- $150,000
