Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead between clients, partners, and internal teams at Darktrace.
- Position Darktrace’s value against client challenges, delivering innovative solutions.
- Qualify, prioritize, and drive new business opportunities in partnership with account teams.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers at all levels, from technical staff to C-suite executives.
- Run custom POVs, close deals, and contribute to regional and global GTM strategies.
- Proactively identify and address client needs, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor.
- Plan and design client-specific deployment strategies and architectures.
- Mentor less experienced team members and contribute to technical initiatives and projects.
- Travel regionally, and potentially internationally, as needed.
- For Associate SE Level: At least 1.5 years of experience in a software sales engineering role; cybersecurity experience preferred.
- For Mid-Level SE: 3 years of experience, with a proven ability to lead customer engagements and close deals.
- For Principal SE Level: 7 years of experience, with advanced expertise in pre-sales and GTM strategy, and strong industry recognition.
- Proficiency in technical concepts, with the ability to simplify and communicate effectively to different audiences.
- Strong knowledge of on-premises and cloud networking technologies; familiarity with cybersecurity methodologies is preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for customer-facing roles.
- Passion for staying updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited university, preferably in a STEM discipline.
