Operations Technician (FULL TIME)
Company Description:
Darmerica is an FDA registered and Florida Board of Pharmacy licensed distributor for compounding pharmacies throughout the 50 States. We supply a full line of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), nutraceuticals, peptides, cosmetic ingredients, natural herbal extracts as well as specialty excipients.
Responsibilities:
· Handle shipping and receiving as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the FDA current Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMP) regulations after on-job training
· Perform reviewing Darmerica product labels, COAs & SDS for accuracy and relabeling & repacking of all incoming products
· Be able to stand for long periods of time performing repacking of products in clean rooms as per SOPs
· Place products in the designated area for Quality Unit release after relabeling and repacking
· Complete all necessary forms and logbooks
· Clean work station areas and equipments as per SOPs
· Maintain weekly inventory of Repacking and Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) supplies
· Conduct periodic inventory reconciliation & administration as needed
· Must be familiar with Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
· Other duties as assigned (after training)
Qualifications:
· Applicants must be a Permanent Resident (with a Green Card) or US Citizen.
· Minimum of 1 year working experience preferred in the pharmaceutical, compounding pharmacy, food, or cosmetic, or nutraceutical industries
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
· Proficient with MS Excel and Word with strong keyboarding skills
· Able to work effectively in a friendly team environment
· Highly organized and detail oriented
· Strong time management and prioritization skills with ability to multi-task
· Must be familiar with GMP and GDP
Education: a minimum Bachelor’s Degree from university (Chemistry, Pharmacy, Health Sciences, Biology, etc. an asset)
Salary Range: $35,000 - $40,000 per year based on experience, salary can be adjusted after probation based on performance. Employee bonus plan up to 10% annual performance bonus, prorated quarterly payout after completing probation.
Full Time Working Hours: 35 hours weekly, 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
Location: Ft. Lauderdale (Davie), Florida
