Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and participate in daily manufacturing activities, including cutting, sewing, and packaging of tablecloths.
- Assign tasks to production workers and monitor progress to meet deadlines and quotas.
- Ensure compliance with production schedules and address any delays or issues in real-time.
- Identify inefficiencies in production processes and suggest or implement improvements.
- Monitor machinery and equipment for performance issues and schedule necessary maintenance.
- Enforce safety guidelines and ensure a clean, hazard-free workspace.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance procedures to ensure finished products meet design and quality standards.
- Coordinate with inventory and supply chain personnel to ensure material availability.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff to maintain high performance and morale.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, changes, and safety protocols.
- 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, experience in textiles or sewn products.
- Experience in cutting and sewing tablecloths, napkins, pillows, etc.
- Strong understanding of textile fabrication processes, cutting layouts, and production line optimization.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Textile Production, or a related field preferred.
