Description
General Summary:
Provide comprehensive support to the production manager, focusing on administrative production processes, finished goods, raw material inventory management, and scheduling.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create, balance, and close production IDs according to established procedures.
- Analyze inventory using PeopleSoft for all production areas.
- Adjust PeopleSoft quantities based on manager reviews.
- Assist with closing product IDs in the system after manager review.
- Lead and monitor monthly production closure, ensuring it follows established procedures and is error-free. Consolidate monthly inventory reports for all WIP production areas.
- Conduct internal audits of physical inventories versus ERP-PS and perform random inspections in WIP and INS areas for internal control.
- Create and modify production schedules for TF and EXT departments. Review schedules with department managers to ensure accuracy and responsiveness. Provide full analysis of negative variances and implement countermeasures.
- Release bags and boxes based on the daily production schedule.
- Resolve inconsistencies or errors identified by the production team.
- Assist with material variance alignment, providing detailed line item results for each material. Review with managers and develop action plans to address negative results.
- Capture a comprehensive daily view of materials, including roll material transfers from production areas to locations.
- Monitor and manage roll storage, including transfers, locations, and movements, with daily reporting.

Requirements
Job Specifications & Requirements:
- Basic knowledge and understanding of good purchasing and business practices and procedures.
- Experience with PeopleSoft, Oracle, or other ERP systems is highly preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in reading, writing English, and basic math.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Physical Demands:
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs from floor to waist height.
- Occasional bending and stooping.
Working Conditions:
- Normal office environment with some exposure to warehouse and operations environments.
