Job Summary:
As a Project Designer, you will play a crucial role in transforming client visions into reality. Your expertise in space planning, furniture specification, and 2D/3D visualization using 2020 and CET software will be essential in quoting and creating exceptional office environments.
Responsibilities:

Quotation and Drawing Generation:
- Assist Customer Service with all Requests for Quotation (RFQ), both large and small, following established protocols.
- Provide detailed quotations and accurate 2D/3D drawings for project opportunities and requests as specified by the customer, utilizing 2020 and/or CET software.
- Generate 2D/3D AutoCAD drawings based on customer specifications.
- Upon request, insert 2D symbols into AutoCAD floor plans.

Visualization and Presentation:
- Provide high-quality renderings upon request, coordinating with external suppliers or internal teams as needed.
- Develop and provide necessary sales tools, including digital assets and images, to enhance quotations and support project wins.

Project Management and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project reporting within the quote system.
- Proof all outgoing work to ensure accuracy.

Client Consultation and Design Development:
- Conduct thorough email, Teams and calls to understand their specific needs, preferences, and project requirements.
- Analyze existing spaces and gather relevant data to inform design decisions.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Create detailed space plans and furniture layouts.

Product Knowledge and Industry Trends:
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of DARRANs product offerings and capabilities.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in office design.
- Provide technical expertise and support to clients and internal teams.
- Contribute to the continuing development of product knowledge materials.

Project Coordination and Management:
- Develop and maintain project timelines and budgets, tracking progress and addressing potential issues.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Designer, preferably in the office furniture or commercial interiors industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp), 2020, and CET software.
- Strong understanding of space planning, furniture specification, and interior design principles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of ergonomic principles and accessibility standards.
- Portfolio demonstrating relevant design projects.
