What you'll do...
- Manage and prioritize moderate to large projects, collaborating with engineers, technicians, and other departments.
- Lead process failure discussions, audits, and investigations across all facilities.
- Perform feasibility studies and assist technicians in diagnosing equipment issues.
- Troubleshoot, propose, implement, and document engineering solutions.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for equipment processes.
- Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment, processes, and products.
- Create test parameters and participate in testing, data analysis, and process implementation.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in efficiency, quality, safety, and service.
- Monitor and meet KPIs related to safety, quality, production, and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
What we're looking for...
- Bachelor's degree internship OR Associate's degree with 6 years of related experience (equivalent combinations will be considered).
- Experience with production equipment, processes, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of statistical and quality methodologies (SPC, SQC, FMEA, DOE, etc.).
- Ability to manage and write Process Control and Reaction Plans.
- Experience with thermoforming, injection molding, printing, or paper equipment.
- Strong background in engineering principles, design techniques, and production processes.
- Proficiency in problem-solving, prioritization, and managing tasks independently or in teams.
- Minimum proficiency in English for effective communication and training.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in engineering or related field of study and three (3) years of related engineering experience
