Under general supervision of the Inventory Manager or other supervisory/management-level position within the Distribution Center responsible for accurately maintaining detailed records of finished goods in existing inventory.
Primary Duties:
- Assigns locations for inbound containers and/or loads
- Accurately performs daily cycle counts.
- Completes bay audits and necessary inventory adjustments on all levels.
- Researches all inbound and outbound discrepancies as it relates to inventory.
- Helps develop and implement new processes and procedures when necessary.
- Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, and safety rules.
- Must be able to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.
- Performs related duties as assigned by Inventory Manager.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed, remain flexible and open to possible schedule changes in order to meet business needs.
Requirements:
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Responsible, reliable and a self-starter
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at any given time
- Good mathematical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
- Knowledge of cycle counts and processes; researching and tracking things down
- Ability to work under pressure
- Capable of adapting to new situations on the fly
- Knowledge of inbound space planning experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Forklift experience
