The Quality Manager is a champion of a quality and continuous improvement focused culture through developing and managing quality improvement initiatives in a 3PL distribution center.
Primary Duties:

Engages and interacts on a cross-functional level with the site management team, employees, client representatives and suppliers regarding quality related KPI’s processes and systems issues.

Develops and implements quality standards, measures, processes, tools and systems.

Establishes and manages a quality control team/committee
-
Provides data analysis and quality control reports to Management and the client.

Leads quality management projects, initiatives and audits
-
Monitors, identifies and corrects non-conformity to internal quality standards.

Conducts investigations and initiates corrective action to resolve quality issues.
-
Drives technology and lean initiatives to reduce waste and improve overall quality through continuous improvement and operational compliance

Drives process compliance
-
Determines root cause of problematic issues such as product damage
-
Works with management, employees, customers, and other stakeholders to develop quality control measures.

Develop KPI’s and provides reports to management.

Implements system and process improvement changes
-
Develops and provides training related to process and system changes.
-
Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality management
-
Quality management experience
-
Project Management Experience
-
This position is primarily day shift, however, the nature of the work requires the observation of the work environment on all shifts and a frequent presence out in the warehouse.

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
-
Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
-
Advanced knowledge and skills in the use of various Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

3PL management or customer service experience
-
The ability to work in non-climate control areas of the warehouse.

The ability to drive a golf cart through the warehouse
