Job Description:
Dartcor is looking for a talented and dynamic Barista with bartending experience to join our team for a full-time role. In this position, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of the coffee and smoothie/juice preparation, assist the bartender, and contribute to the overall success of our café. Key Responsibilities:
- Coffee & Beverage Preparation: Prepare a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, Americanos, cappuccinos, lattes, cold brews, and other specialty beverages.
- Smoothie/Juice Bar: Prepare and serve fresh juices/smoothies according to guest preferences.
- Barback: Support bar operations during happy hours and events.
- Customer Service: Provide outstanding service to all customers with a positive attitude and a friendly smile, ensuring each guest has a memorable experience.
- Café Operations: Assist with expediting during busy service times, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the café, and helping with any other tasks as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside café managers and team members to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service at all times.
Requirements
Skills & Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a barista/barback/food service.
- Proficiency in making a wide range of coffee and smoothie/juice beverages, with a focus on quality and presentation.
- Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong desire to provide exceptional customer service.
- Ability to jump in and assist with various roles in the café, including food prep and expediting during busy times.
- A team player who is adaptable and willing to contribute to all aspects of café operations.
