Position Purpose | To design and implement a comprehensive, best-in-class physical preparation framework to enhance athletic performance, reduce injury risk, and sustain a culture of championship habits and behaviors within the daily training environment for assigned teams. This includes planning, coaching, administering, and programming within NCAA, Ivy League, and institutional standards. Reporting to the Director of Strength & Conditioning for Olympic Sports, the Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach will collaborate seamlessly with coaches and the Dartmouth Peak Performance (DP2) team, leveraging interdisciplinary expertise to provide holistic support for student-athletes' health, wellness, and development-empowering them to excel both on and off the field. |
Description | Dartmouth Athletics and Recreation is recruiting for a full-time Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach to join our team. This position supports student-athlete development by designing and implementing a comprehensive, best-in-class physical preparation framework to enhance athletic performance, minimize injury risk, and sustain a culture of championship habits and behaviors within the daily training environment, in close collaboration with our head coaches. This position will work with the Men's and Women's Ice Hockey programs, as well as other team assignments based on candidate background and the needs of the department. Reporting to the Holekamp Family Director of Strength & Conditioning for Olympic Sports, the successful candidate will collaborate seamlessly with Dartmouth Peak Performance (DP2), leveraging interdisciplinary expertise to provide holistic support for student-athletes' health, wellness, and development-empowering them to excel both on and off the field.
