Dartmouth Health is pleased to announce a national search for the Chief Financial Officer of Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, New Hampshire.

Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced healthcare finance leader who will be responsible for the overall financial management of the hospital while working alongside other Dartmouth Health system leaders. The successful candidate will be an effective financial strategist with a track record of accomplishing big goals, fostering sustainable growth, and maintaining positive relationships.

About the job:

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer of Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital and with a secondary reporting relationship to the Chief Financial Officer of the Dartmouth Health system, the Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital CFO will serve as a key member of the Senior Leadership team. Primary functions include the development and implementation of financial plans and goals as well as financial forecasting, analysis, and decision-making support related to business performance measurements. This high-visibility position requires that the CFO effectively manage change and capably implement new courses of action.

Minimum qualifications:

• Qualified candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field. Master’s level education is strongly preferred.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• Candidates must possess a minimum of 10 years of senior level finance or accounting experience within a healthcare organization.

Since 1932, Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital (APD) has been a non-profit, community-based health care organization with the mission of improving the health and wellbeing of the Upper Valley community. APD cares for more than 15,000 patients annually and has a strong reputation for personalized attention. Long-known for primary care, APD also specializes in short-stay ambulatory surgery and other specialty services. The campus includes a 25-bed critical access hospital with inpatient care and emergency services, a 10-bed Surgical Short Stay unit, an outpatient Multi-Specialty Clinic, a state-of-the-art Sleep Health Center, and APD Lifecare, a non-profit senior living community with two facilities that supports more than 150 residents in assisted and independent living.
