What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician position at Dartmouth Health?
Dartmouth Health is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician to join our academic perinatology practice with a particular focus on supporting our southern community group practices. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established, robust perinatal practice of six MFMs while expanding MFM services in Southern New Hampshire. The physician will be eligible for academic appointment at Geisel School of Medicine. This position is a 1.0 cFTE.
In this role, the MFM physician will provide care to high-risk obstetrical patients in both the outpatient and inpatient settings. Providing labor and delivery services is also an option. Dartmouth Health is an integrated healthcare system with Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center as its academic hub. Thus, this position will include teaching residents and medical students. Our community has a diverse patient population, and we have a robust team set up to work with patients facing various social determinants of health.
Dartmouth Health is dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive group of faculty, staff, and trainees to meet the needs of our patient populations. We are especially interested in applicants who are able to work effectively with and care for individuals from all backgrounds. We invite applicants to state in their cover letter how their research, service, teaching, and/or life experiences prepare them to advance Dartmouth Health’s commitments to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
