Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Mental Health Counselor Specialist to provide patient-centered care that is resiliency and recovery-oriented, with a primary focus on patients' health and safety. The successful candidate will conduct patient group sessions and patient education, facilitate daily therapeutic activity groups, and ensure follow-up with appropriate clinical and/or support staff.
This role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with all Joint Commission, State Licensing, and Medicare standards.
