Position Summary
Greets patients,completes all registration tasks in an accurate, efficient, timely and patient-friendly manner, including but not limited to: demographics; collection, recording, scanning and verification of insurance; determination and collection of copayments, coinsurances and/or non-covered services; self-pay referrals to financial assistance resources; obtain valid signatures for any/all required paperwork,monitors clinicians' appointment schedules, makes requested referral appointments and performs final insurance related duties that are requested during the patient's check-out after office visit has been completed, schedules follow-up visits and clinical studies requested by the provider.Consistently demonstrates positive and constructive interactions with patients, co-workers, and all other internal and external customers, consistently participates as a positive and constructive team member, with flexibility in schedule and workload as needed, shares information and serve as a resource to co-workers with training, trouble-shooting and problem solving as needed.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma, or equivalent
Experience: Prior experience preferred—on-the-job training available

FTE/Hours: 1.0 - 40 hrs/week
