Responsibilities

Dartmouth Health’s Department of Radiology is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible fellowship-trained, multi-modality Radiologist in the Emergency Radiology division, to join our practice in the beautiful Upper Valley region of New Hampshire and Vermont.  Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, the system’s central clinical hub and Academic Medical Center, is located immediately adjacent to bustling college town of Hanover, NH. Hanover is home to the world-renowned Dartmouth College and Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Numerous opportunities for professional growth are available, including in clinical excellence and in numerous other areas, depending on the interest of the candidate.

 

Faculty at Dartmouth Health serve as Assistant, Associate, or full Professors at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Faculty have access to the academic and cultural resources of the health system, the College, and the School.

 

Position Summary:

Your responsibilities will include interpreting a full range of emergency imaging studies, including neuroradiology, across all modalities such as CT, MRI, and ultrasound, as well as supervising minor procedures. Additionally, you will actively participate in the supervision and education of radiology residents, medical students, and learners from other departments. Our team of emergency radiologists provides evening and overnight coverage for DHMC, a Level 1 trauma center, and its affiliated hospitals, following a 7-days-on, 14-days-off schedule. Overlapping shifts are 9 hours in duration.

The selected candidate will join Dartmouth Health’s 60 radiologists. Required Licensure/Certifications

  • Diagnostic Radiology Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Fellowship-trained or possess relevant experience with a keen interest in Emergency Radiology
  • Must obtain and maintain a medical license in both New Hampshire and Vermont
  • The ability to be appointed at the Assistant, Associate, or full Professor rank, depending on experience. Experience or interest in having a local and/or national reputation of clinical excellence and teaching skill preferred.
