Endocrine Surgery Advanced Practice Provider
Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center – Lebanon, NH
The Department of Surgery at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) in Lebanon, NH seeks a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Endocrine Surgery division. In this role, you will follow pre- and post-operative patients in the outpatient setting. Qualified candidates may have the opportunity to first assist in the OR.
Position Highlights:
- Functions as part of the provider team to provide care to the division’s panel of patients
- Additional opportunities may include aspects of teaching, research/QI, and program development
- Flexible schedule with opportunity for some remote work, Monday-Friday. No nights/weekend call
- In-office procedures including, but not limited to, ultrasound, fine needle aspiration (FNA) biopsies, and flexible laryngoscopy
- Potential for OR first assist (PA or RNFA-certification required)
- Academic appointment with the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth
- Ideal candidate is a team player, detail-oriented, and possesses strong communication skills
Requirements:
- BLS certification
- Current (or eligible) certification to practice as a PA or APRN in NH
- Successful completion of an approved PA/APRN program.
- For candidates seeking to work in the OR: National specialty certification as RNFA or certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
