Radiation Oncology Clinic - Per Diem
In this LNA position, you will be joining a cohesive team that works collaboratively to provide compassionate care to our radiation oncology patient population. The LNA is essential to maintaining the daily flow in this clinic.
Some of the LNA responsibilities in Radiation Oncology include but are not limited to:
- Assists with clinic activities including but not limited to, rooming patients, collecting vital signs, completing medication reconciliation, heights and weights, POC testing, and obtaining specimens, as needed.
- Assists with preparing patient for radiations treatment, including directions on gowning, notifying providers and treatment team of patient readiness.
- Assists in maintaining a clean and safe work environment including low level disinfection of exam rooms and vitals carts; emptying linen bags, and restocking supplies as needed.
- Assists RN’s, APRNs or Physicians with procedures as needed.
Responsibilities
Performs various patient care activities and related nonprofessional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Assists nursing service personnel with a variety of patient care duties. Possesses direct access to drug products and secure medication locations in order to manage the storage, handling and disposal of medications consistent with the Medication Storage and Handling Policy.
Qualifications
- High school graduate required.
- Must demonstrate keyboarding skills and be familiar with computer use.
- Previous hospital experience preferred.
Required Licensure/Certifications
- Licensed Nursing Assistant in the State of NH required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate required.
