Overview
The Mammography department at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH has two clinical areas, screening and diagnostics. Special procedures such as needle localizations, image-guided core biopsies, and sentinel node injections are performed in the diagnostic area. The Breast Imaging division is a component of the Comprehensive Breast Care Program (CBCP) at DHMC. The Breast Imaging division also performs Dxa exams.
We are seeking a Per Diem Mammographer/Dxa Technologist to join the team to perform breast imaging as well as ultrasound and stereotactic-guided biopsy procedures and Dxa exams. Biopsy experience preferred but not required. Breast ultrasound experience preferred but not required. Dxa experience preferred but not required. They will assist in the technical orientation of cross-trained Radiologic Technologists and instruct them in complex or difficult procedures.
This is a per diem position.

Qualifications
- 1 year of clinical Mammography experience required.
- Minimum of an Associates degree from an accredited program; based on ARRT guidelines.
Required Licensure/Certifications
- Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology, registered with the ARRT, in addition to certification in Mammography with the ARRT.
- Certification in Basic Life Support required.
- Maintains a second Mammography registry by annually accruing five ECE's specific to Mammography Education, as required by federally-mandated MQSA standards.
- Licensed by the Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy in the state of New Hampshire
