As an Ortho Medical Assistant you will enjoy variety in your work while supporting the clinic flow. You will assist with patient movement, gathering vitals, weight, height, documentation, and ensuring x-rays and orders are in place.
The Ortho Clinic is a fast pace, multi hall clinic seeing 200-250 patients per day! If you are interested in Muscular & Skeletal health, this is the place for you. In addition to Medical Assistants, our care team is made up of a stellar Provider team, passionate RN's, LPN's, and LNA's working alongside Orthopedic Technicians and Athletic Trainers. This passionate team offers an environment where growth opportunities and additional training are supported.

The clinic is open 8am-5pm Monday through Friday, allowing for consistency in your schedule and maximize your time outside of work too!
The team will also consider PT and Per Diem schedules as well.
Responsible for clinical duties such as taking vital signs, giving injections, performing simple diagnostic tests, collecting specimens, drawing blood, sterilizing and cleaning equipment, and maintaining examination rooms at an outpatient care site.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program required.
- Previous experience in office or outpatient ambulatory care setting strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work well as a member of a team.
- Computer skills strongly preferred.
- Must be willing and able to participate in evening, weekend, and holiday coverage according to needs of the department.
Required Licensure/Certifications
- American Association Medical Assistants (AAMA) certified - CMA designation OR American Medical Technologists (AMT) registered – RMA designation OR Certified Clinical Medical Assistant plus 12 month D-H apprenticeship program – CCMA designation.
- Current BLS certification required.
