The Medical Laboratory Scientist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist independently performs various diagnostic tests in the Clinical Laboratory to obtain data for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. The MLS/CLS also performs venipunctures and capillary draws on Inpatients, Emergency Room patients, and Outpatients as needed.
This is a 40-hour per week, benefitted, day-shift position working Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. This position is required to work rotating weekends and holidays.
We also offer a $8000 sign-on/retention bonus for this position. *The bonus is available for external hires only and certain conditions apply.

Qualifications
- AS degree and minimum of 4 years of Clinical Laboratory experience or Bachelors of Science Degree and minimum of 2 years of Clinical Laboratory experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant technical experience required.
- Ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines and manage changing volumes. Basic knowledge of computer software systems.
Required Licensure/Certifications
- Nationally recognized certification required within 1 year of date of hire, ASCP certification preferred
