Overview
Our Mental Health Technicians support our high risk mental health pediatric patients. Our highest priority for these patients is safety and delivering a therapeutic environment.
Successful candidates will have a passion for working in behavioral health, demonstrating empathy, compassionate caring, and a high level of emotional intelligence, providing one on one support to adolescent patients in need ranging from 12 to 17 years of age.
This is a FT 36hr/week day shift rotating position. The shifts will rotate from 7a-7p and include weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
As a member of an interdisciplinary team provides continuous care and supervision of patients to ensure a safe and secure environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in mental health or human services related field preferred.
- Previous experience in healthcare or mental health preferred.
- Excellent communication skills desired with the ability to work collaboratively as member of multi-disciplinary team.
- Complete required Workplace Violence Prevention Training within 6 months of hire.
