Responsibilities
Specifies, installs, configures, and supports/maintains data network hardware and software.
Works with data communications service vendors to design and implement new network services.
Plans and executes data network projects.
Specifies and troubleshoots data network circuits.
Maintains existing documentation and develops new documentation.
Recommends and implements procedures that improve the technical services network operations for Information Services application groups and user departments.
Serves as a technical resource for Information Services and user departments.
Evaluates, recommends, and implements data network hardware, software, and circuits which improve the operation of Information Services.
Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of data network management experience, or the equivalent in education and experience required.
