Full Stack Gen AI Engineer
Long term contract W2
Irving, TX (Hybrid) Weekly 2 days on office
Role Overview:
As a Full-Stack Developer, you will work across the entire stack, collaborating with
cross-functional teams to design and implement cutting-edge solutions. You will play a
crucial role in developing both frontend and backend components, integrating AI-
powered features, and ensuring the performance and scalability of our applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Frontend Development:
Build and maintain dynamic, user-friendly interfaces using React, Angular, or
Vue.js. Ensure responsive and high-performance web applications that meet user
needs.
Backend Development:
- Develop and maintain backend systems using Node.js, Deno, and various full-stack frameworks (e.g., Django, Laravel, Flask). Write clean, scalable, and efficient code that ensures robust application functionality.
AI & API Integration:
- Integrate and leverage AI capabilities using the OpenAI API (including GPT models) and other LLM providers APIs to build intelligent features and improve user experiences.
Database Design & Management:
Work with SQL databases to design efficient data models, perform migrations, and optimize query performance. Have a strong understanding of relational database principles.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and other developers to
deliver high-quality solutions. Ensure alignment between frontend and backend
features to meet project objectives.
Testing & Optimization:
Implement unit and integration tests for both frontend and backend components.
Continuously optimize the application for performance and security.
Documentation & Code Review:
Write and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for code and system
architecture. Participate in code reviews to ensure best practice and maintainability.
Required Skills & Experience:
Frontend Technologies:
Expertise in one or more modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or
Vue.js.
Backend Technologies:
Proficiency in Node.js, Deno, and experience with Python or PHP. Familiarity with
full-stack frameworks like Django, Flask, or Laravel is a plus.
AI Integration:
Experience working with AI APIs, especially Open AI s GPT or other large language
model (LLM) providers like Google Cloud AI, Anthropic, or Cohere.
Database & Data Modeling:
Strong understanding of SQL, data modeling, and experience designing and
managing relational databases.
Version Control & Collaboration:
Proficient in Git, with experience working in collaborative development environments
(e.g., GitHub, GitLab).
Problem Solving & Analytical Skills:
Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex
technical challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Cloud Platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Experience with Docker or containerization technologies.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with GraphQL or other API technologies.
