Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Product Owner to join our team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between our engineering teams and the product management group, ensuring the development and delivery of innovative, high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, UX, and business stakeholders to define, prioritize, and execute the product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring that it is clear, prioritized, and aligned with business goals and technical requirements.

Act as the main point of contact between technical teams and business stakeholders. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa.

Work closely with stakeholders to define and document clear, actionable product requirements that align with business goals.

Write detailed user stories, define acceptance criteria, and ensure that product features meet technical and business expectations.

Collaborate with Product Managers and other stakeholders to define and maintain a strategic product roadmap. Ensure the technical feasibility of product features and help to prioritize initiatives based on impact and resource availability.

Work with engineering teams to define sprint goals, prioritize tasks, and ensure that sprint deliverables align with product goals and deadlines.

Anticipate technical challenges and work proactively with engineering to resolve issues. Participate in product testing and quality assurance to ensure features meet standards.

Track and measure product performance and usage, utilizing feedback and analytics to guide iterative improvements.

Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives) and advocate for Agile best practices within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proven experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner, or in a similar role within an Agile development environment.

Strong understanding of software development processes, including the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.

Experience with product development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and beyond.

Basic knowledge of coding, systems architecture, or technical infrastructure to understand the implications of product decisions.

Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

If your compensation planning software is too rigid to deploy winning incentive strategies, it’s time to find an adaptable solution. Compensation Planning
