What are the responsibilities and job description for the Keokuk Park Apartment Maintenance - Part-time position at Darwin T Lynner Co.?
Looking for candidates who:
- Have a reliable vehicle
- Have a valid Iowa Driver's license
- Are able to pass a background check and sex offender check
- Enjoy working on a team in a fast-paced work environment
- Can fulfill some required after-hours on-call responsibility
- Can act in a professional manner while working with our tenant clients
Candidates must possess the required maintenance skills:
- Handling maintenance tickets inside apartment units
- Turning vacant units to make ready for new renters
- Have construction, repair, and rehab. skills
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry is a plus
- Hanging and finishing drywall
- Installing doors and millwork
- Painting
- Light plumbing
- Light electrical work
- Solid troubleshooting skills * Performing routine repairs and maintenance to appliances, plumbing, and electrical components and performing light carpentry and drywall repair.
- Completing work orders and apartment turnovers
- Completing necessary paperwork and communicating with the management team as necessary
- Maintaining supplies and inventory
- Obtaining vendor bids for select and special tasks.
