- Safety Assistant : Knowledge of and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Regular Daily Safety Rounds
- Job Hazard Assessments
- Personal Protective Equipment Assessments
- Safety Project Coordination
- First Aid
- Lock Out Tag Out Procedures
- Workers' Compensation
- Safety Training
- Addressing Employee Safety Concerns
- Providing Safety Education to New Team Members
- Fork Lift Driver Training
Requirements: The successful candidate will have one to three years of experience. OSHA 30-Hour preferred. ISO 14001 and 45001 knowledge a plus.
- An Associates Degree in EHS or related business field, preferred
- Three to five years of experience of EHS in a manufacturing environment, required
- Knowledge of federal regulations including OSHA, EPA and DOT
- Good Skill level in MS Office including the ability to create presentations, training programs, reports, etc
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information and communications.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple assignments.'
